The start of 2023 has been a busy one for the Laser Tools Racing Rally Team with two annual awards presentations to attend where after a very successful 2022 we were awarded with 1st in class 4 and highest placed Ford in the 2022 Clubman Motorsport EMAMC Stage Rally Championship, and a great result in the Alpha Concrete ANEMMC Stage Rally Championship finishing a fantastic 2nd overall, so a great season with well-deserved rewards at the end. Peter Outram reports: 2022 saw the Laser Tools Racing Rally team contest in championships these being the Association of East Midlands Motor Clubs (EMAMC) and the Association of North East Midlands Motor Clubs (ANEMMC) and the goal was to try and be champions in both. Laser Tools Racing has today (December 5th) announced its withdrawal from the BTCC and will not be contesting the championship in 2023. The team has enjoyed great success in the UK’s foremost motorsport series after its inception in 2014 as an independent BTCC team with driver Aiden Moffat. In 2020 the team geared up to two cars as Ashley Sutton joined. That year the Drivers’ Championship was awarded to Sutton with the team picking up the Independent Teams’ trophy.
