BTCC Brands Hatch (Indy Circuit) — May 6-7

With the current changeable weather and the wet/dry, wet/dry conditions at Donington two weeks ago causing all the BTCC teams problems, there were high hopes for a more consistent (weather-wise) weekend at Brands Hatch. Not to be! Saturday's weather was dry(ish) for the first free-practice session, and dismal and wet the second, but later it in the afternoon for the all-important qualifying session — it was worse! Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport and Jake Hill enjoyed a strong start to the opening round of the 2023 Kwikfit British Touring Car Championship season held at Donington Park over the weekend (April 22-23). Saturday: After a dramatic qualifying session on the Saturday afternoon, Jake piloted his #24 WSR-run BMW 330e M Sport to set the fifth-quickest lap time in the initial thirty-minute qualifying session, before a fantastic lap in the 'Top-10 Showdown' was enough to earn the 29-year-old a third-place start in Sunday's opening race. British Sprint Championship — Cadwell Park

John Loudon reports on the eagerly awaited opening round of the British Sprint Championship at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire. What was supposed to be an enjoyable day tuned out to be quite literally a damp squib of an affair as cold temperatures, gusty winds and heavy downpours marred the day. With over 140 competitors and tricky conditions, there were lots of incidents to keep the marshals busy! Laser Tools Racing supports driver Chloe Grant in the new 2023 F1 Academy series

Laser Tools Racing is delighted to confirm their support of Chloe Grant in the new all-female F1 Academy series. Chloe has joined ART Grand Prix and the 17-year-old British racer will be part of a three-car line-up at the French team. Founded by Formula 1, the F1 Academy is a brand new all-female championship for 2023.
