It was a busy weekend of racing at Snetterton with plenty of on-track action for the spectators to enjoy. Friday was a test day, and as such, track-time was limited so both Laser Tools Racing drivers Logan Hannah and Chloe Grant were keen to make the most of what time they did have. Coming into this weekend, the end of the first half of the season, the team were quite happy following their heroics at Oulton Park last time out. Aiden getting his first trophy of the season and Dexter getting his first championship points were a great result for the team and they were keen for this success to continue at Croft before they go into the mid-summer break. The Sir Jackie Stewart Classic Presented by Rolex was held over the weekend of June 18-19 at the evocative location of Thirlestane Castle near Lauder in the Borders of Scotland. Thruxton was the venue for round three of the Kwik Fit MSA British Touring Car Championship — the fastest circuit on the calendar and the only circuit to have its own special tyre as the normal medium compounds can’t cope with the insane cornering speeds and the very abrasive track surface.Last time at Thruxton for pre-season testing, Laser Tools Racing found it a frustrating day, as due to a faulty component, Aiden’s M Sport engine destroyed itself.
