Chloe Grant: Porsche Sprint Challenge Iberica · Race 6 report Estoril

The 2026 Porsche Sprint Challenge Iberica season came to a close at Estoril on 31 October – 1 November. New entries for the final round raised the level of competition, and the weekend delivered the closest, most intense racing of the year, with two P5 overall finishes for Chloe Grant and a Silver class podium in Race 2.

QUALIFYING:

Co-driver Tomas Slootweg took the first qualifying session and qualified P6 overall and P5 in the Silver class. In the second session, Chloe Grant qualified P7 overall and P5 in Silver, in a field strengthened by several new entries for the final round.

Race 1: Unfortunately, Tomas’s race ended in a DNF after a spin at the final corner.

Race 2: A strong start put Chloe straight into the fight, and for the full 20 minutes she was part of a five-car battle, attacking the car ahead while defending from the one behind. It was the best race of our season in terms of competition. Grant finished P5 overall, taking P3 in the Silver class, along with victory in the Ladies’ Cup.

Race 3: Tomas finished P8 overall and P6 in the Silver class.

Race 4: The final race of the season was another hard-fought one, with a close battle against one other car for the entire race. Chloe Grant finished P5 overall and P4 in the Silver class, also taking a second Ladies’ Cup victory of the weekend.

Chloe Grant commented:

“Estoril marked the end of my 2026 Porsche Sprint Challenge Iberica season, and I finished P3 overall in the championship standings. It is my best championship result in the series so far, and caps off a very successful year.

“As the 2026 season comes to a close, I would like to say a huge thank you to Laser Tools Racing, John Clark Motor Group, and Aspirax for their support throughout the year. They made this season possible. Thank you also to AF Motorsport for being such a fantastic team to race with, both on and off track.

“Stay tuned for my plans for next season!”
