Chloe Grant: F1 Academy — Valencia

Chloe impressively lies ninth in F1 Academy standings after opening six races. The Laser Tools Racing driver looks forward to more F1 Academy action in Barcelona later this month (19-21 May), hugely boosted after scoring two top-seven placings — including a superb fourth place in the latest races. BTCC Brands Hatch (Indy Circuit) — May 6-7

With the current changeable weather and the wet/dry, wet/dry conditions at Donington two weeks ago causing all the BTCC teams problems, there were high hopes for a more consistent (weather-wise) weekend at Brands Hatch. Not to be! Saturday's weather was dry(ish) for the first free-practice session, and dismal and wet the second, but later it in the afternoon for the all-important qualifying session — it was worse! BTCC Donington Park — April 22-23

Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport and Jake Hill enjoyed a strong start to the opening round of the 2023 Kwikfit British Touring Car Championship season held at Donington Park over the weekend (April 22-23). British Sprint Championship — Cadwell Park

John Loudon reports on the eagerly awaited opening round of the British Sprint Championship at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire. What was supposed to be an enjoyable day tuned out to be quite literally a damp squib of an affair as cold temperatures, gusty winds and heavy downpours marred the day. With over 140 competitors and tricky conditions, there were lots of incidents to keep the marshals busy!
